August 2026 — Founding Member Meeting and Membership Renewals
At the August 4, 2026 Founding Member Meeting, AHHA presented its progress and outlined the association’s next priorities: developing the Seal of Quality, advancing industry standards, expanding education and public-relations efforts, and creating additional opportunities for member participation.
August 2026 — Website and Public Resources Updated
AHHA continued improving its website, membership information, application process, Board information, and Member Directory. The association also began organizing its approved governance and policy documents into a public resource library to improve transparency and accessibility.
Spring–Summer 2026 — Moving From Foundation to Implementation
With its foundational policies approved, AHHA began implementing its membership structure, expanding its Member Directory, developing educational resources, organizing committees, and improving its public website. The association also began developing the AHHA Seal of Quality framework for eligible products from Silver and Gold members.
March 24, 2026 — Enforcement and Conflict Resolution Policy Approved
AHHA approved its Enforcement and Conflict Resolution Policy. The policy establishes a complaint-driven process for reviewing reported concerns, investigating potential violations, providing due process, resolving disputes, and applying corrective or disciplinary action when appropriate.
March 17, 2026 — Code of Conduct Approved
AHHA approved its member Code of Conduct, establishing expectations for ethical leadership, scientific and marketing accuracy, product integrity, transparency, and professional conduct. Adherence to the Code of Conduct is an ongoing condition of AHHA membership.
March 17, 2026 — Membership Structure Approved
AHHA approved its annual membership tiers, benefits, and fees. The Bronze, Silver, and Gold membership structure creates multiple ways for companies and individuals to participate while connecting membership benefits and voting privileges to each tier.
February 10, 2026 — Mission and Purpose Formalized
AHHA finalized its Executive Summary, Mission, and Purpose. The document formally identifies AHHA’s three primary areas of focus:
- Consumer protection and trust
- Unity and collaboration
- Industry standards and accountability
November 2025 — Conflict of Interest Policy Approved
The Board approved AHHA’s Conflict of Interest Policy, Statement, and Disclosure. The policy requires Board members and others with delegated governing authority to disclose potential conflicts, recuse themselves when appropriate, and act in the best interests of AHHA.
November 2025 — Bylaws Approved
The AHHA Board approved the association’s bylaws, establishing its formal governance structure.
The bylaws define AHHA’s purpose, Board composition, officer responsibilities, membership framework, committees, financial administration, conflicts of interest, and amendment procedures.
Fall 2025 — Governance Framework Developed
The Board began formalizing AHHA’s governance structure and operating requirements. This work included defining the responsibilities of the Board and officers, membership expectations, committee oversight, financial governance, conflicts of interest, and procedures for future amendments.
May 2025 — Founding Member Outreach Begins
AHHA began connecting with companies and leaders throughout the hydrogen health industry.
Prospective founding members were invited to participate in shaping the association’s priorities, governance, member benefits, and approach to industry accountability.
Spring 2025 — Building AHHA’s Foundation
Work began on AHHA’s initial organizational infrastructure, including its website, visual identity, banking, administrative systems, and filings for federal recognition.
The Board also began identifying the major questions the association would need to address, including membership requirements, voting rights, ethical standards, accountability, and enforcement.
March 2025 — AHHA Board of Directors Formed
AHHA’s founding Board of Directors was assembled to begin building the first nonprofit trade association dedicated exclusively to the hydrogen health industry.
The Board’s initial responsibilities included establishing the organization’s infrastructure, defining its purpose, completing required filings, and creating a framework for member participation.
